Delivery of new aircraft and upgrading of the long-haul fleet now provides a superior level of seating comfort, entertainment choices, fine dining and personalized servicewhentravellingin Royal First Class and Royal Silk Class between Bangkok and THAIs intercontinental destinations.
Beginning January 1, 2009 mileage requirements for Award travel on THAI in Royal First Class and Royal Silk Class will increase in Zones 4 to 7. Miles required for redeeming Award travel on THAI in Economy Class and Premium Economy Class in all zones remains unchanged. In zones 1-3 Award travel in Royal Silk Class and Royal First Class also remains unchanged.

THAI Mileage Upgrade Awards
In line with the increases to THAI Air Awards on selected routes, Upgrade Awards on THAI will also increase on intercontinental flights beginning on January 1, 2009. Again, Mileage Upgrade Awards in Zones 1-3 in all classes of service remain unchanged.
Star Alliance Awards Star Alliance Awards and Star Alliance Upgrade Awards are zone and distance based, and mileage increases in selected zones for Business Class and First Class Award travel will take effect on January 1, 2009.
